Aces win the 2023 WOSS League Title!
18/05/23
Congratulations to Team Aces: Graeme Innes, Ian Reid, Ian Craig and Allan Duffy and Kieran Craig.
Aces won 17 out of their 22 matches, only losing once at home to Screwballs.
They had 4 draws against Chancers, Lucky Break, Screwballs and Blue Arrows.
After being nip and tuck with Screwballs for the entire season, the turning point was probably the return of Allan Duffy after Christmas. Missing during the first half of the season due to an operation on his leg, it was great to see him back in action as the league got underway again after the Christmas break. It is no coincidence that Allan had the best win rate out of anyone in the second half of the season.
This is the sixth time that they have won this prestigious snooker league.
